Sports Performance

Many professional and Olympic athletes have used hypnosis as a way to improve their skills, such as baseball players, boxers, and even Tiger Woods.

Some methods to improve a skill include guided imagery, relaxation, and building confidence.  It's well known that being in a relaxed and confident state of mind helps sports performance, and hypnosis is very effective in achieving both of those states of mind.  With guided imagery, the athlete pictures themselves performing their sport while in a state of hypnosis, programming the movements into the subconscious.
